Similarities in Competence and Warmth between Men and Women Does Not Necessarily Imply Gender Equality

This presentation reports an application of the Stereotype Content Model on gender relations in a Swedish context. While differences between men and women as to the level of competence and warmth could not be established, these dimensions played different roles for men and women, regarding other gender related features.
