Passion Doesn't Change, but Emotions Do: Testing a Social Media Intervention Related to Physical Activity Engagement

Abstract
A social media intervention promoting adaptive passion and positive emotions related to physical activity was tested in a sample of young adults. In a longitudinal design (N = 524, with a control group), texts and images distributed through an Instagram account promoted more positive emotions, but not more harmonious passion.
