Abstract

We examined the effect of partner presence, sexual stimulation, and vaginal pressure on the appraisal of sexual arousal and vaginal sensations. Participants reported less arousal when watching a sex film together with their partner. Relationally unsatisfied women reported more painful vaginal pressure and more arousal when the partner was absent.
