Abstract

Participants with GAD received personalized CBT. HAM-A measured anxiety severity, and PSQI assessed sleep quality. There was significant positive correlation between PSQI and HAM-A pre-treatment, significant reductions in PSQI and HAM-A during treatment, and no correlation post-treatment. CBT targeted reducing anxiety and distress, so distress could be a moderating variable.
