Abstract
Number of traumatic events was positively correlated with anxiety, depression, PTSD, dissociation, anger, internalizing, externalizing, and total scores in 114 healthy, typically developing children. MANOVA revealed those with high versus low trauma reported significantly more symptomology, demonstrating that traumatic events are psychological risk factors even in non-clinical, currently healthy children.
