Abstract

Previous research highlights the importance of parent-child communication following a pediatric cancer diagnosis, however little is known about determinants of children’s communication behaviors during cancer-related interactions. This study explores relations between pediatric cancer patients’ coping strategies and their subsequent positive and negative communication behaviors during parent-child interactions about cancer.
