Abstract

This study discusses the recent phenomenon of online dating usage in young adults 18-30 years (N=106). Variables of gender, age, ethnicity, and mate preferences were examined. Results show associations between gender and online dating usage as well as the increase of online methods despite ongoing stigmatization and safety concerns.
