Abstract

We examined the association between college students’ belief that they have ADHD and self-reported neuropsychological symptoms. College students who believe they have ADHD reported higher levels of cognitive inefficiency, inattention, memory problems, inability to tolerate frustration, and impaired academic skills than peers without ADHD.
