Cognitive Consequences of Viewing Body-Worn Camera Video Footage

Abstract
Does viewing body-cam video footage contaminate memory? People viewed a segment from a first-person shooter video game simulating a police use of force event (or control condition). Memory for one’s state of mind during the original event was suggestively influenced by viewing one’s game-play video, but event memory was not.
