Abstract

This study tested two mediation models involving executive functioning (EF), visuospatial working memory (VSWM), verbal working memory (VWM), and mental rotation. VSWM completely mediated the relationship between EF and mental rotation when EF is measured by the tower test but not when EF is measured by the color-interference test.
