Abstract
Gaucher disease type 1 (GD1) is a rare multisystemic genetic disorder. We examined psychosocial functioning and quality of life among 32 children and young adults with GD1. The BASC-2 and PedsQL 4.0 were administered. One sample t-tests indicated that youth with GD1 experience poorer psychosocial functioning relative to healthy counterparts.
