Job Search during Financial Hardship: Employment Commitment and Expectations Among Selected Job Seekers in Ghana

This study examined the roles of job search motives, goal orientation and financial hardship in explaining job search behaviour. Employment commitment and job search expectation mediated the relation between goal orientation and job search behaviour. The study has practical implications for career counsellors and coaches for job seekers in Ghana.
