Abstract

Hundred-sixty participants were randomized into two conditions and played a dice game online, rewarded based on points obtained. Half were observed by a dynamic picture of a robot, the other half not. Cheating behavior was observed in general, however the Honesty-Humility personality dimension could predict cheating only in the robot-group.
