Virtual Reality and Perception of the Passage of Time

Abstract
The present study seeks to explore the extent to which the level of immersion in a video game alters a participant’s perception of the passage of time. We hypothesize that
a greater degree of immersion in the video game experience will result in lower retrospective estimates of time passage.
