Abstract
We studied the impact of gender and group composition on leadership, under stereotype threat. While men displayed more leadership behaviors than women in general, female-majority groups outperformed gender-equal groups and women in those groups. These results speak to how group composition could mitigate the negative effects stereotype threat.
