Proactive Personality Benefits: The Role of Career Encouragement, Work-Life Identity Salience, and Career Satisfaction

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating role of career identity and career encouragement and the moderating role of gender on the relationship between proactivity and career satisfaction. Career identity salience and career encouragement were found to mediate the relationship while gender did not produce significant results.
