Judgments of Bullying Scenarios: The Influence of a Victim's Attractiveness

In assessing whether a situation constitutes bullying, one may use heuristics. Physical attraction is a heuristic people often employ when assessing others. This study tested the effect victim attractiveness has on attitudes toward bullying. Participants responded more negatively to bullying accompanied by an unattractive victim’s face than an attractive face.
