Psychometric Properties of the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale-Short Form

Abstract
We used a longitudinal dataset of STEM students (N = 432) to investigate the psychometric properties of the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale-Short Form (ECR-S). Results raised additional questions about the adequacy of the ECR-S in preserving the factor structure of the original ECR, and concerns regarding scoring and validity.
