Motivation Towards the Environment: The Adoption of Easy and Difficult Positive and Negative Environmental Behaviours

This study demonstrates that self-determined motivation towards the environment is associated to a higher frequency of easy and difficult pro-environmental behaviours in addition to a lower frequency of easy and difficult negative-environmental behaviours. Moreover, non-self-determined motivation is linked to less easy pro-environmental behaviours and further easy and difficult negative-environmental behaviours.
