Abstract

Though childhood chronic irritability is a transdiagnostic concern, limited research has evaluated the effectiveness of irritability-specific psychosocial interventions. A brief group-format intervention manual was adapted from a validated cognitive-behavioral model and piloted with community children. Findings suggest that the intervention is feasible and acceptable, and irritability symptoms declined at post-treatment.
