Just Ignore Me: Increased Acceptability of Public Technology Use

The current study gauged participants’ assessments of the quality of their research experience after an interaction with a researcher who was either attentive or distracted by a cellphone, desktop, or textbook. Contrary to the hypothesis, level of researcher attentiveness did not predict participant satisfaction.
