Abstract
Anxiety, depression, rumination, and obsessive-compulsive behavior are distinct traits. Studies suggest these traits are elevated in deaf and hard-of-hearing (D/HH) people, but with unknown underlying psychological organization. Factor analysis on 35 D/HH and 249 hearing adults indicate similar psychological organization, suggesting conventional, but culturally-adapted, interventions may generalize to deaf adults.
