A Review of Statistical Power Analysis in Psychology Journal Articles

While some argue that statistical power analysis can be a valuable research tool, others have challenged its logic and utility. After investigating recent power analysis reporting practices within psychology journals, we found that best practices are not often followed. This may be unsurprising, given the subjectivity within the procedure itself.
