Abstract
Four interventions to reduce questionable research practice (QRP) endorsement were tested using NIH and NSF-funded scientists. All interventions increased perceptions of QRPs as negatively impactful to science. Unexpectedly, only women’s ethical endorsement of QRPs was reduced by intervention exposure. Results highlight the importance of refining procedures to reduce QRP prevalence.
