Abstract

It is widely known that children’s TV shows contain physical aggression, but little research has explored the tween age group and levels of social aggression. A content analysis on tweens’ favorite TV shows found that there were 1.22 socially aggressive acts shown per minute and 42% of acts were rewarded.
