Abstract

This study explores the relationship between sexism and dark triad personalities. Sexism accounted for 12%–17% of dark triad scores and predicted dark triad scores for genders. Findings are consistent with the dark triad not simply being a set of traits, but a manifestation of societal male power and privilege.
