Abstract

Students from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (N = 176) participated in an online experiment evaluating the role of gender of a hypothetical cyberbully and cybervictim on assessments of blame, responsibility, punishment, and intent to harm. Results indicated that male and female participants differed in their evaluation of these factors.
