Abstract
Narcissists are prone to memory distortions for information related to competence or desirability. Does this finding reflect a bias for processing narcissistic information? This study answers that question by examining memory differences for neutral versus narcissistic information. The results raise questions about the relationship between narcissism and memory distortions.
