Abstract
This field experiment demonstrated that preschoolers are susceptible to a food consumption nudge: Segmented lunch plates with fruit and vegetable photos. Data from 18 preschool classrooms in a 6-day period showed significant increase in vegetable consumption during the intervention period, suggesting great potential of this nudge technique among young children.
