Abstract

Longitudinal self-assessment on learning outcomes may help students set goal competencies and actively evaluate skill development. Senior psychology students self-assessed current and expected skill levels before and after a project-based research course. Students perceived skill improvement relative to their previous self-ratings and to their perceptions of their peers.
