Efficacy of Information-Based Interventions in Reducing Prejudices Towards Peers on the Autism Spectrum

People on the autism spectrum experience increased sensory activity, causing everyday activities to be overwhelming. The Autism Theatre Project works to create performances that are “sensory friendly.” As part of this effort, performers receive training about autism spectrum disorders. This study examined the impact of this training on performer attitudes.
