Redundancy Among Personal Relationships Constructs in Predicting Emotional Well-Being

Many personal relationships constructs are linked to emotional well-being. We examined the extent to which such links were redundant or unique. Students rated their mothers, fathers and closest peers on a large number of relationship constructs. Most links to emotional well-being were redundant, although a few were unique.
