Informal Caregivers’ Assessment of Pain in Individuals with and without a Neurocognitive Disorder

This study aimed to assess reliability and concurrent validity of pain assessment measures administered to persons with dementia, compared to ratings by informal caregivers. The study will help the audience realize the utility in using other reporters (i.e., family members) throughout the course of the neurocognitive disorder to evaluate pain.
