Deity Priming and Situational Self-Forgiveness

This study examined the impact of priming deity images on relationships with self-forgiveness. Both angry and benevolent God images decreased self-forgiveness in hypothetical narrative transgression scenario in comparison to control images. This shows that deity images regardless of their nature influence self-forgiveness.
