Abstract

ADHD has been extensively researched in developed countries; less is known about the etiologies of this neurodevelopmental disorder in developing countries such as India. This may be partially due to stigmatization of ADHD in Indian families. Results indicate that cross-cultural differences between parenting styles are associated with ADHD symptom presentation.
