Abstract
This meta-analysis explored the extent to which friendship is related to academic performance and cognitive variables such as reasoning and problem-solving, and whether there are variables that moderate this relation. Results indicated that friendship was related positively to academic and cognitive outcomes and a moderating influence of friendship measurement.
