Abstract
Examined participant race and racial identification and legal responding in an alleged sexual assault of a Black female by a White officer. Highly racially identified Blacks reported greater victim compensation and officer punitive responding than Whites. However, low racially identified Blacks reported less victim compensation and punitive responding than Whites.
