How Academic Organization Impacts Students’ Sense of Belonging

Abstract
This study compared students’ sense of belonging among three academic schools of a university. Forty-four students completed questionnaires. Results indicated that in line with the institution’s agricultural history, students in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences reported the greatest university belonging. Implications for retention are discussed.
