Linking Empowering Leadership to Work Role Performance : The Role of Thriving and Career Aspiration

This study investigated the relationship between empowering leadership(EL) and work role performance among 427 workers. Results demonstrated that the positive relationship between EL and work role performance was partially mediated by thriving. Additionally, the effect of EL on thriving was found to be stronger among workers with high career aspiration.
