Abstract

Dual language immersion (DLI) programs, which promotes biliteracy, and parental involvement at home have both been shown to influence students' academic performance. Among English Language Learners, the interaction of these two factors predict reading and math performance. Home activities also predict higher academic performance, regardless of socioeconomic status.
