Abstract

Mental health disorders, such as depression and PTSD, are associated with overgeneralized autobiographical memory and future thinking. However, studies have yet to examine whether poor sleep underlies these cognitive impairments. In an on-line study (N =157), poor sleep was significantly correlated with reduced autobiographical memory and future thinking specificity.
