Abstract

This research examined relations between the ACT, a college admissions test related to general intelligence, and theory of mind (ToM). Positive linear effects were observed for all ACT tests. Moreover, additional nonlinear effects indicated that the predictive power of the ACT (for ToM) declined at higher ability levels.
