Pathways Linking Clinician Demographics to Diagnostic Accuracy: An International Perspective

Secondary data analysis of WHO's development of the ICD-11 explored the impact of clinician characteristics and response time on diagnostic accuracy. Clinicians' experience, world region, and clinical profession indirectly predicted diagnostic accuracy through their overall response time. Clinicians' slower response times had a significant positive impact on diagnostic accuracy.
