Abstract

In a longitudinal follow-up, mother-daughter socioemotional flexibility was consistent over time, such that flexible dyads remained flexible and more rigid dyads remained more rigid. However, daughters’ psychosocial factors may be associated with patterns of emotion dynamics of mother-daughter relationships in late adolescence.
