Abstract

The current study assessed the clinical utility of a bifactor parameterization of ADHD. Results suggested specific inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity factors were unreliable. Although the “g” factor was reliable, it did not improve on more parsimonious symptom counts in predicting externalizing and internalizing problems. Symptom counts may be most clinically useful.
