Gender Differences in Attitude Transfer Effects in the Context of Goals

This research examines whether competing or cooperating with one individual influences attitudes toward the friend or foe’s whole group. The results showed that men had more negative implicit attitudes toward overweight people when an overweight person was a competitor rather than a cooperator.
