Abstract

We examined the associations between dimensions of abnormal (psychopathy, Machiavellianism, narcissism) and normal personality, on the one hand, and music and movie genre preferences, on the other, in a community sample (N=429). Our findings suggest that individuals' may prefer entertainment genres that most closely align with their respective personality traits.
