Abstract
Using questionnaires and a letter-writing task, we examined differences in young adults’ perspective taking for their grandparents with dementia versus grandparents without dementia. Consistent with Miron et al. (2017)’s dementia interactions model, young adults showed more perspective taking and empathic concern for their grandparents with dementia versus grandparents without dementia.
