Abstract

In two studies, we examine ways to promote empathy. In-class perspective training appeared to only impact perspective-taking. However, those receiving a mobile empathy intervention demonstrated higher scores across several forms of empathy over the course of the intervention. We discuss implications for promoting empathy in everyday life.
