Abstract
Globally, research has indicated that women are at increased risk for mental illness. Evidence is less clear regarding risk factors that may underlie this disparity. The aim of this study is to examine the demographic and socioeconomic disadvantages potentially explaining the increased risk of mental illness among women in Vietnam.
